New Canadian, New Home

As a new Canadian, buying a home is part of settling into your new life. If you have immigrated or relocated to Canada within the last five years, you may qualify for the New to Canada program. If eligible, you can purchase a property with as little as 5% downpayment.

Here is What you need to qualify:

  • Borrowers must not be prohibited from purchasing a property under the "Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act"
  • Borrowers must have a valid work permit or permanent residency

  • Proof of Income
  • A letter of reference from a recognized financial institution
  • If downpayment is less than 20%. proof of credit worthiness with either an international credit report, or the previous years history of bill payments.
